WHAT IS FOUNDATION EDUCATION?
English is not a language preparatory program!
Foundation Education is a Subject Matter Knowledge Preparatory Program. In other words, students who apply to one of the fields such as social sciences, science, etc. are first provided with preparatory education in mathematics, science and social science in these fields. The prerequisite for admission to this program is to be proficient in A-LEVEL (advanced) English. It is necessary to obtain at least 5.5 from exams such as IELTS or TOFEL held in our country.
If the language level is not sufficient for international students, the best way for them is to improve their English proficiency for IELTS, which is designated for such exams, by being placed in a suitable language school under the assurance of ITEBS.
Students with academic and English proficiency are eligible for unconditional admission. Those who are not considered ineligible apply for conditional admission to fulfill these requirements.
In addition to the high school grade point average, applications must include reference letters received from their teachers and education plans indicated in the UCAS form.
